“Paper exchange in Plants” – SFLers spread green lifestyle

With the approval of the Youth Union and Student Association of SFL, on June 14,2020 at Hall A, the Club for the Community – CVC organized a program “Paper exchange in Plants” with the desire to bring positive changes to students’ awareness about minimizing the impact of human activities on the environment, helping us have a green life, contributing to environmental protection and concurrently being able to reuse old newspaper and books.

In order to take part in the program, each person only needs to bring used paper, books to weigh and convert to trees: 1 kilogram of paper for 1 cactus, 2 kilograms of paper for 1 succulent and 5-10 kilograms of paper for a special potted plan.

After exchanging paper and plants, the organizers will start to classify white paper and books for different purposes. Valuable books will be gathered and used to support children who are in difficult circumstances. Meanwhile, used paper will be sent to the recycling facility white paper or single-sided paper will be separated to continuously use.

With the project “Paper exchange in Plants” – Spreading green lifestyle, SFLers not only contribute to the value of used products but also change people’s awareness about protecting the environment, protecting your own life and those around us.
