Announcement the decision of the President of Thai Nguyen University

Minister of Education and Training, Nguyen Kim Son awarded Decision No. 2222/QD-BGDDT dated August 10, 2022 of the Minister of Education and Training on the recognition of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Hung, Director of Thai Nguyen University Branch in Lao Cai province, holds the position of Director of Thai Nguyen University for period 2022 – 2027. The decision takes effect from the date of signing.

Delivering congratulatory speech and assigning tasks to the new President of Thai Nguyen University, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son emphasized that: The term of the new President of TNU takes place during the time when the education and training sector implements the Resolution of University, the 13th National Congress of the Party; Resolution of the National Assembly on the five-year socio-economic development plan 2021 – 2025; along with many other great policies of the Party and State on the development of education and training.

This is a time that is both an opportunity and a challenge for TNU in general and the new Director in particular. “New people, new jobs, new challenges, but when trusted by the staff of TNU, Party Committee, and the Council of TNU, when leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training trust, we hope and fully believe that the new Director TNU will successfully complete the task and there is no other way than to successfully complete the task, because this is a requirement, a mission that new president must make great efforts and strive to complete. That is the task and requirement that the leader of the Ministry of Education and Training assigned to. As for the collective leadership of TNU, who have entrusted it with their trust, they must give their utmost support. The efforts of an individual cannot make the achievements of a large unit. First of all, it must be a joint effort, support a person to put on his leadership position, I hope that the staff of TNU will join hands with the new Director to overcome challenges” – emphasized the Minister of Education and Training.

Expressing her joy and congratulating the new Director and the staff of TNU, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Thai Nguyen affirmed: No matter what position he holds, Mr. Hoang Van Hung always shows himself as a cadre leader, exemplary party members, with solid political courage, enthusiasm, with a high sense of responsibility; constantly strive, successfully complete the assigned tasks, affirm the prestige, capacity and qualifications that are trusted and appreciated by the organization and. She hoped that Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Hung, Director of TNU in his new position and responsibility, would quickly start working, continued to make more efforts, and uphold the sense of responsibility of the people at the top, together with the staff of TNU promoted the tradition of solidarity and the achieved results, closely following the tasks of the sector and the province; continue to innovate in training, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the organizational apparatus; restructure the contingent of managers and teaching staff in accordance with the actual situation; improve the quality of training in the direction of standardization, modernization, integration, meeting social needs and worthy of the trust and expectations of the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training and Thai Nguyen province.

Expressing the joy and honor of being trusted and recognized by the staff of TNU, leaders of Thai Nguyen province and the Ministry of Education and Training, and assigned the responsibility of the Director of TNU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Hung, Director of TNU expressed: “Difficulty and the ever-changing challenges ahead will be huge, and to overcome it, I will join hands with the entire Executive Committee of the Party Committee, the University’s leaders, and the teachers in the whole TNU to join hands and to carry out the tasks in this mission period 2022 – 2027. The Minister’s decision was assigned to me personally, but even though I have tried my best, without the collective cooperation of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of TNU, leaders of member units, lecturers and officials of the whole University, I could not complete the task. I hope that we will be a responsible community, each individual will need to be liberated, creative and given every opportunity to contribute to build TNU to become a prestigious key university in Vietnam and the Asia region”.
