The School of Foreign Languages is preparing the handover of student dormitories as a concentrated isolation place to prevent and control the Covid epidemic.

On May 28, TNU-SFL hands over 2 dormitories with nearly 600 accommodation to serve as the isolation place for people related to Covid-19, accompanying Thai Nguyen Province to repel the epidemic.

More than 30 school staff and lecturers have participated in supporting students to move large amounts of property and furniture in a hurry situation. The school quickly arranges storage space, looks after the furniture, makes sure the safety and cleans up for handover. During the implementation process, TNU-SFL teachers always strictly follow the 5K principle (mask, distance, disinfection, do not gather, medical declaration).

Under the direction of Dr. Le Hong Thang – Rector of TNU-SFL, for the case of 39 students who have to leave the dormitory and are in difficult circumstances and are unable to return to their hometown in the epidemic area, the school quickly sends come up with a plan to support students to find temporary accommodation, creates the most favorable conditions for them to settle down and continues their studies. In addition, some groups and individuals of the school participate in supporting SFLers students in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic such as: Administrative Team – General donation of 50kg of rice,English Language Department supports 39 boxes of instant noodles, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh – Lecturer of Basic Science supports 15 boxes of instant noodles and 05 boxes of porridge. All support from teachers and students for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic should be sent to the Union Office.
