In the morning September 10th, at Thai Nguyen University Convention Center, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son attends the Announcement Ceremony and hands over the Decision to appoint the President of Thai Nguyen University for the term 2022 – 2027.
Attending the Decision Announcement Ceremony are: Mr. Hau A Lenh, Member of Communist Party of Vietnam, Minister and Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Minh Son, Deputy Minister of Education and Training (MOET); representatives of departments under the Ministry of Education and Training; representative of the Embassy of Laos in Vietnam; leader of the Zone I Military; leaders of Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces; leaders of Hue University and some domestic universities. From Thai Nguyen province, there are: Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Member of Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Party Committee, Head of Thai Nguyen People’s Delegation; Dang Xuan Truong, Member of Thai Nguyen People’s Committee, Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen People’s Committee; leaders of departments of Thai Nguyen province
Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son hands over Decision No. 2222/QD-BGDĐT dated August 10, 2022 of the Minister of Education and Training on the recognition of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Hung, president of Thai Nguyen University Branch in Lao Cai province, holds the position of President of Thai Nguyen University for the term 2022 – 2027. The decision takes effect from the date of signing.

Giving speech of congratulating and assigning tasks to the new President of Thai Nguyen University (TNU), Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son emphasizes that: The term of the new President of TNU takes place at the time when the education and training sector implements the Resolution of the XIII National Congress of the Party; Resolution of the National Assembly on the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021 – 2025; and many other major Party and State undertakings on education and training development. This is a time that is both an opportunity and a challenge for TNU in general and the new President in particular. “New people, new jobs, new challenges, but when being entrusted by the staff of TNU, Party Committee, and TNU Council, the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, we hope and fully believe that the new President of TNU will successfully complete the missions, I hope that the TNU team will join hands with the new president to overcome challenges”

Expressing her joy and congratulations to the new President of TNU, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee affirms: Regardless of his working position, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Hung always shows himself to be a leading cadre, an exemplary Party member, with strong political bravery, enthusiasm, with a high sense of responsibility; constantly striving, and excellently completing assigned tasks, affirming the prestige, capacity and qualifications trusted and appreciated by collectives, organizations and superiors. Ms. Nguyen Thamh Hai hope that President of TNU in his new position and responsibility, will quickly start working, continue to make more efforts, uphold the sense of responsibility of the head, together with the TNU team to promote the tradition of solidarity and achieved results, closely adhering to the tasks of the sector of the province; continue to innovate in training, continue to streamline and improve the efficiency of the organizational apparatus; restructure the contingent of managers and teaching staff in accordance with the practical situation; improve the quality of training in the direction of standardization, modernity, integration, meeting social needs and worthy of the trust and expectations of leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training and the province.
Expressing his joy and honor of being trusted and recognized by the TNU staff, leaders of Thai Nguyen province and the Ministry of Education and Training assigned the responsibility of President of TNU and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Hung, expresses: “The difficulties and challenges that are always ahead will be great, and in order to overcome it, I will work together with the Thai Nguyen Party Committee, University leaders and teachers to carry out the misions in the term 2022-2027. The Minister’s decision is given to me personally, but even though I try myself, without the cooperation of the collective of the Party Committee, the Board of President of TNU, leaders of member units, lecturers and staff of the whole University, I could not complete the task. I hope that we will be responsible for the community, each individual will need to be liberal, creative and given every opportunity to contribute to building TNU to become a prestigious key university in Vietnam and Asia”. The new President of TNU would like to thank the guiding comments of the Minister of Education and Training and leaders of Thai Nguyen province and would like to deeply absorb those valuable ideas. He hopes that he would continue to receive the attention and support of the Government, leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, local leaders and universities, research institutes, socio-professional organizations along with the high determination of the cadres and officials, TNU will definitely have a stronger transformation, worthy of the trust of the leaders and the people.
