Full of emotions with the final round of  “Vietnamese – Korean singing” contest at Thai Nguyen University

On the afternoon of May 6, 2023 at the Convention Center of Thai Nguyen University, the final round of the “Vietnamese – Korean singing contest in 2023” takes place. The final round of the contest takes place with the competition of the best 16 performances coming from universities, colleges and vocational schools in Thai Nguyen province. Recorded and broadcasted by VTC Digital Television, broadcast channels: VTC1; VTC3; VTC6 and broadcast live on social networking platforms such as Facebook, Youtube, STN Sports Television, Korea.

The song  “Back to Time”  performed by singer Ryu Seok-hun opens the final round of the “Vietnamese – Korean singing” contest.

The second performance is very special with the performance of 16 contestants attending the final night with the song “Hello Vietnam”.

The “Vietnamese – Korean singing” contest is organized by Thai Nguyen University, School of Foreign Languages in collaboration with VTC Best in Korea – Vietnam Digital Television, and with the participation of businesses from Korea.

In order to improve solidarity, strengthen cultural exchanges  between Vietnam and Korea, the contest has attracted nearly 200 contestants. Through the rounds of competition, the competition has in turn selects the best 16 candidates to enter the final round.

Giving speech at the opening ceremony of the competition Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Hung – President of Thai Nguyen University emphasizes: “Music as a cultural diplomatic pseudo-ancestor has made a great connection between Vietnam and international friends. The Vietnamese – Korean Singing Contest will not only bring a love of art, sound, and melody to students, but also a dialogue exchange between cultures to understand and connect between love and culture in the warm friendship between Vietnam and Korea…”.

The final round takes place with many emotions. The winner of the special prize and the joint prize KBS – WA contestant is from the School of Foreign Languages – Thai Nguyen University with the song “Arirang Alone” performed by Chu Thi Linh.
