The “Knowledge Quest” was organized to promote learning activities, create a helpful playground for students, and provide them with a chance to show their knowledge and practice their logical thinking skills. This helps the students to enrich themselves in a comprehensive way.
The Knowledge Quest 2017 challenged its candidates with questions about a variety of fields such as national and international culture, society, sports, music, history, etc. Fifty candidates from all courses of all majors had to answer 20 questions. They were given 10 seconds for each question. They had to write their answers on a board. Students with the wrong answer had to leave the competition stage. After 6 questions, there were only 2 competitors left. Fortunately, relief from the competition Advisory Board brought all the others back. The competitive atmosphere of the competition reached its peak when only 3 candidates, Tu Van Cuong, Vu Van Duy and Pham Thu Uyen, remained on the stage after the 16th question to compete for the highest prize. The competition came to an end when Tu Van Cuong excellently answered the 20th question to ring the golden bell of the “Knowledge Quest 2017.”
Dr. Tran Thi Nhi, Deputy-Dean of SFL gave Certificates and presents to 3 excellent students of the contest.
The success of the competition is a great source of inspiration for the students of the School of Foreign Languages, TNU to continuously try their best to improve themselves.
