Workshop “Improving the effectiveness of scientific research for students”
Recognizing the role and importance of science research for students, with the consensus of the Party Committee and the Dean of the Faculty, on May 8th, 2013, the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Thai Nguyen University organize the seminar “Improving the effectiveness of science research for students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Thai Nguyen University”.
Scientific research activities are one of the most important tasks not only for institutes and research centers but also for universities and colleges. For students, scientific research not only helps them initially practice and improve their thinking ability, self-discovery, self-fostering knowledge, but also helps learners form skills to identify topics, limit scopes, and choose research methods.
Attending the workshop there are Ms. Tran Thi Nhi, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Mr. Trieu Quang Viet, Head of Department of Academic Training and Science Management, leaders of functional departments, Heads and Deputy of Departments and students.

Giving speech at the opening ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Nhi highly appreciate the ability to explore, learn, and self-research spirit of students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Thai Nguyen University, she hopes that the student science movement of the Faculty would be increasingly promoted, effectively serving teaching and learning activities, at the same time, contributing to improving the status of foreign language students in particular and Thai Nguyen University in general. On this occasion, on behalf of the Dean of the Faculty, Ms. Tran Thi Nhi presente certificates to 6 students with excellent scientific achievements in the academic year 2011-2012.
At the workshop, students listen to scientific reports guiding scientific research processes, providing useful knowledge to help them have a comprehensive view of scientific research activities that are considered not to bring practical benefits. The consulting team consists of teachers who have many years of scientific experience answering questions related to the process of implementing the topic, the standards of science research for students as well as their own experience in this activity. Student Phan Thi Chi from Chinese English K31 shares about the challenges and opportunities for students scientific research.
The workshop “Improving the effectiveness of science research for students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Thai Nguyen University” really provides students useful knowledge, encourages the spirit of self-study and self-research among students, showes the interest and priority policy of the Faculty of Foreign Languages for science activities in general and student science in particular. Hopefully, students will always bring with them a dynamic and creative tradition of Foreign Languages.
