Workshop “Information Technology applications meet outcome standards for foreign language students in 2014”
Implementing the academic year plan of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and basing on the practical application of ICT in foreign language teaching and learning of staff as well as students at the Faculty, on March 25th, 2014, the Faculty of Foreign Languages organizes the seminar program ” Information Technology application meets the outcome standards for students majoring in foreign languages in 2014″.

Dr. Luu Quang Sang with the report “Some problems in applying IT to foreign language teaching” giving listeners more clearly about some contents: Some advantages of IT in foreign language teaching, IT positioning in foreign language teaching, Human factors in applying IT to foreign language teaching.

The report “Sharing some knowledge and experience on IC3 rules and exams” by speaker Do Thanh Mai has provided very “hot” and practical information to staff as well as students of the Faculty when meeting the outcome standards for students requires an international IC3 computer certificate and staff also needs this certificate when taking the exam recruitment and job promotion,..

The presentation of Mr. Do Khac Hoan – “Effectively exploiting the use of functions on the software in multimedia classrooms of the Faculty of Foreign Languages” guides very specific operations on the software in the multimedia classroom of the Faculty.
With the sharing of experiences “Teaching and learning foreign languages with Edmodo learning social network” by Phung Van Huy, it brings to the workshop new awareness, new experiences, new excitement when applying Edmodo social network in learning and teaching foreign languages in a very specific and practical way.

The presentation “Building a lecture system according to Elearning standards” by Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Huong gives some contents: what is Elearning and Elearning lectures, some principles when preparing Elearning lectures in foreign language teaching and introduces some software to support Elearning lesson preparation.

Especially, in this workshop, there is a presentation report of students Nguyen Thi Lieu & Phan Thi Thu Phuong – “Application of ICT in foreign language teaching and learning” from the perspective of students, presents some contents on the current situation, causes and solutions of IT application in foreign language teaching and learning.
It can be said that this workshop has provided the necessary knowledge and understanding to contribute to raising the awareness of staff as well as students of the Faculty about the application of ICT in teaching and learning foreign languages to meet the outcome standards for students. Employees also immediately have for themselves the orientation to apply IT to the professional work undertaken.
